The Latest Update
- 11 July 2022
The latest update for Cat Goes Fishing brings a host of new gameplay changes, fixes and new features to the game. One of the biggest changes is the addition of a new weather system, which brings rain, snow and fog to the game world. This not only affects the visual look of the game, but also the gameplay, as fish will now be more active in certain weather conditions. Other changes include the addition of new fish species, new fishing gear, and various bug fixes.
The biggest new addition is the ability to save and load your game progress. This has been a highly requested feature, and we’re happy to finally add it in. Now you can pick up right where you left off, even if you close the game and come back later.
We’ve also added a new fish to the game: the elusive Legendary Fish. These fish are incredibly rare, and can only be caught by using the best bait and tackle. But they’re worth the effort, as they sell for a high price at the fish market.
In addition, we’ve made a number of changes to the gameplay. Fishing line now snaps more easily if it’s overstretched, and fish are now much more likely to bite if your bait is close to their hiding spots. We’ve also made it so that fish caught in bad weather sell for a higher price.
Another big addition is the new tournament mode. In this mode, you'll compete against other players in a race to catch the most fish. There are different tournaments to choose from, and you can even create your own custom tournament.
In addition to the new features, there are also a ton of fixes and improvements in this update. Fishing line tangles should be much less common now, and the game's overall performance has been improved. A number of bugs have also been fixed. The game should now run smoother and be more stable overall.
So update your game and get ready to go fishing with a friend. The Cat Goes Fishing update is now live!
